“We first met Damien in 2014. We established his franchise documents for the Urban Clean franchise system. Since then, over the years, we’ve been on the journey with Damien and Urban Clean.
I picked up straight away how genuinely interested and concerned Damien was about the success of his franchisees and the success of his master franchisees. I recall the conversation when we first met in 2014. One of his main priorities was making sure franchisees would make money and franchise regionals would make money. He went into the franchising space with that in mind. The thing that I’ve noticed about Damien and acting for him as he builds Urban Clean is just how much he has adapted over the years. I mean, we’ve seen some really difficult times for businesses over the last couple of years. Like Covid for example. Seeing just how Damien adapted to that, and navigated the Urban Clean franchise system through, was remarkable. And Damien continues to evolve, adapting to economic changes, environmental changes, or whatever is happening in the world.
Damien always knew that this was the type of business that would go global. Even in the early days of acting for Damien, we were instructed to protect his IP internationally. And, and so we did that. Australia is just scratching the surface – even in terms of market penetration in Australia. I think that there’s still a lot that Urban Clean can do here in Australia. And in terms of globally, well, that’s a whole other frontier for Damien. I have no doubt he’ll be successful in the USA where he’s taking Urban Clean.
